Specific Treatment Tracks

We develop a unique and individualized person-centered treatment plan for each client. This can include a specialized family-centered treatment plan when appropriate.

In addition to our ability to diagnose and treat mental health and addiction concerns, we specialize in the following treatment tracks for our clients and families.

We have two separate offices, one for children/teens and one for adults.

Teen Treatment

PHP/IOP and traditional outpatient talk therapy options. Psychiatry is available.

We meet teens where they are in our person centered approach while holding our teens accountable for their actions and progress in treatment with action based therapy. We use the family systems model and treat the entire family unit to best care for our clients. Our strategic family therapy has changed the lives of families and their dynamics to produce healthy and functioning relationships.

Education support and lunch is provided for our PHP (partial hospitalization) level clients. We work with your child's current school to ensure that school work is completed while they are in treatment.

IOP (intensive outpatient) is held during after school hours (4pm - 7pm) for those enrolled in traditional school and includes multiple private sessions including family, psychiatry, and group support.

Adult Treatment

PHP/IOP and traditional outpatient talk therapy options. Psychiatry is available.

Our action based therapy model helps individuals set and keep goals in order to change their lives. We focus on practical solutions rather than abstract goals. Our therapists specialize in helping clients identify the root causes of issues, going beyond symptomology and looking at the causation in order to process past experiences that influence current behaviors.

Case management and lunch is provided for our PHP (partial hospitalization) level clients. We work with clients who are currently employed to navigate treatment rights. We help those looking for employment with resumes and cover letters.

IOP (intensive outpatient) includes multiple private sessions, psychiatry, and family or couples therapy when needed. We offer flexible hours and weekend options.

Child Treatment

PHP/IOP and traditional outpatient talk therapy options. Psychiatry is available.

Because the maturity level of each child varies, therapists work to build rapport and take an individualized approach with each client. Talk therapy and play therapy are available.

Family systems is heavily emphasized with this age group and parent(s) and siblings are expected to be involved in treatment when appropriate.

Education support and lunch is provided for clients at PHP (partial hospitalization) level. We work with your child's current school to ensure that school work is completed while they are in treatment.

IOP (intensive outpatient) is held during after school hours (4pm - 7pm) for those enrolled in traditional school and includes multiple private sessions including family, psychiatry, and group support.

Disordered Eating

Eating issues can come from disordered thoughts or behaviors, poor body image, or unresolved emotions that centers around food and eating rituals. Our program addresses the presenting problem in order to reduce symptoms while addressing the underlying issues. We have a nutritionist that helps provide psychoeducation on nutrition at the macro and micro levels and our have therapists trained specifically in eating disorders.

School or Goal Issues

Pressures on academics, athletic or other performances can become overwhelming. Our team is able to help teens and young adults separate the emotion from the logic and build resiliency in order to re-frame obstacles as opportunity. Learning how to prioritize tasks and take inventory of what is important is one coping skill that will be used for a lifetime.

Failing grades, skipping classes or an overall lack of motivation is a sign that an individual needs a little more help. Our team is experienced with these issues and are able to support our clients with individual and group therapy.

Our program includes education assistance to get children and teens back on track. We also offer goal and career assistance for graduates and adults.

We work closely with schools to ensure that assignments are completed and that academics do not suffer due to treatment.

Colorful Lockers

Isolation and Social Anxiety

Anxiety is not uncommon but when anxiety starts to impair daily functioning, intervention from a professional can help provide tools and resiliency training for children, teens and adults. Early intervention is key when experiencing social anxiety in order to avoid impairment in social abilities or school/work performance. Individual and group therapy for those with social anxiety are beneficial because they both address underlying causes of anxiety and provide a safe space for people to explore their emotions and though patterns.

Anger Issues and Outbursts

It can be very scary when teens withdraw from family or friends or have anger outbursts. Parents may feel nervous to intervene or upset the child. Therapy is a good resource for teens who are isolating or having anger outbursts because it is a place to hold them accountable and provide new tools for better coping. Individual therapy for teens can help resolve the deep rooted issues a teen may not feel comfortable discussing with an adult. Group therapy is a great way for teens to connect with peers and find commonalities with other teens.

Electronic Addiction

Video games and cell phones are a part of most families daily lives. What happens when the devices meant to bring us together are actually separating us? Our team can help refocus adolescents and create a healthy balance between being present in the moment and enjoying electronics.

Isolation, avoidance, depression, anxiety, burnout, sensory or stimulation issues may be a factor for those spending too much time on video games or apps and we are here to help.
